Julianne Casey Interiors has been transforming homes with custom design services in Hampton Roads and the surrounding areas for the last decade, and we’ve loved every minute of it. What started as a joint project that combined our shared talents and aesthetic turned into a full-fledged business that has been producing stylish, beautiful homes and happy clients-turned-friends ever since. Julianne is the fabric maven with out-of-the-box ideas, a sharp eye for where to incorporate a statement and a background in design and consulting. Marianne is the furniture and layout expert with a background in art history and design planning and fabrication. Together, we’ve had the privilege of redesigning and reimagining countless living spaces, from one-time consults to top-to-bottom remodels. We’ve helped new clients walk through the exciting process of designing their dream homes, and we’ve helped beloved clients downsize their current homes and transition to assisted living communities - and everything in between. In addition to our residential projects, we’ve designed spaces in commercial office buildings and medical offices, and were honored to help upgrade the historic offices of the President and Provost at The College of William and Mary.
So often, new clients come to us too overwhelmed to know where to start and unable to even articulate what they truly want - if you’re currently feeling this way you are not alone. Our role is to get inside your head and help you create a space that supports the flow of your everyday life - we aren’t here to tell you what to do or how your space should look. We will partner with you to create something that reflects your personality and lifestyle - a space that can be loved long-term. Our projects all have a vibrant, sophisticated, and clean aesthetic. The team is passionate about designing spaces that are long-lasting and functional, and we are constantly looking for sentimental items we can repurpose and recover. As a rule, we never use the same fabric or design twice. We fully embrace the psychology of interior design, and have learned from experience that the happiest people have the most beautiful homes, no matter the design.
Through the years we’ve worked with builders, architects and sub-contractors in every phase of design and construction, and we have long-term relationships with some of the most talented textile and furniture vendors, artists and craftsmen in the business. Whether you’re just getting started and have questions about paint colors or light fixtures, or you want to dive in and remodel your entire home, no project is too big or too small.
